Perry S. Burnum, Brother of Calvin Resident, Dies

Perry S. Burnum, 80, of North Hodge, died Sunday, May 21, in a Hodge clinic
after a brief illness.  He was the brother of Mrs. Mattie Blake of Calvin.

Final rites were held at 3 p.m. Monday in the Hodge Pentecostal Church with
Revs. Jimmy T. Miller and Lonnie Treadway officiating.  Burial was in the
Walnut Cemetery.

He is also survived by his wife, Mrs. Thelma Burnum of Hodge; one son, Lloyd
Burnum of Jonesboro; two daughters, Mrs. Lottie Bryan and Mrs. Blanche Cavett,
both of Hodge; one brother, Joe Burnum of Jonesboro; 11 grandchildren and 14
great grandchildren.
