BURNUM DEAD Mr. W.E. Burnum, age 41 years, a resident of Ward 10, died at his home at Walkers Crossing February 28th, at eleven o'clock a.m. He had been sick for only a short time but pneumonia and malaria in a complicated form caused his sudden death, it was stated. Mr. Burnum was well and favorably know in his community and in the parish. He was a member of the Baptist Church and died firm in the faith of the saving power of Jesus Christ. Funeral services were held at Yankee Spring Church Sunday, March 1st, at 12:30 o'clock. He leaves a wife and three small children together with a mother, four brothers, three sisters and other loved ones to mourn his passing.
