P. Burton Dies; Last Rites In Lewisville, Ark. Mrs. A. P. Burton, 70, a longtime resident of Winnfield, died in a Homer, La., hospital last Saturday after a short illness. She was the former Minnie Young, a nurse in Shreveport many years ago, and was the widow of the late A. P. Burton, prominently associated in the tie and timber business in this area, who died here last summer. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday in Homer, La., with the Rev. W. P. Fraser and the Rev. Jack Bennett officiating. Graveside services were held in the Lewisville, Ark., cemetery, where interment was made. Survivors include a sister, Mrs. F. C. Shaw of Colfax; a brother, I. W. Young of Port Arthur, Texas; two nieces, the former Theo LeSage and Mrs. Carter Wideman of Homer, La.; and a nephew, Joseph LeSage, Jr., of Shreveport.
