Busby, Dies Wednesday Olan Louis Busby, 55, of Natchitoches, died at 9 a.m. Wednesday, November 15, 1972, in the Veterans Administration Hospital in Alexandria. He was the operator of a service station, a native of Sikes, and a veteran of World War II. Busby is survived by a son, Jerry Busby of Natchitoches and two brothers, Luhter Busby of Winnfield and Aaron Busby of Joyce. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Thursday in Welcome Home Baptist Church with Rev. Willie Broadway officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery under direction of Hixson Brothers of Winnfield. Pallbearers were Tommy Gandy, Len Maxey, Mike Tinnerello, Charles LaFollette, Mike Kelley, and A. C. Busby.
