C. J. Bustin Dies; Last Rites May 25 At Friendship

Funeral rites for C. J. Bustin, 78, who died at a Winnfield hospital Monday
after a long illness, were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Friendship Baptist
Church near Sikes with the Rev. Louis Moffett and the Rev. Willie James
officiating.  Burial was in the church cemetery.

Mr. Bustin was a retired farmer and had lived in Winn Parish all his adult
life.

Survivors include his widow; four daughters, Mrs. Leila Hammonds, Mrs. Thelma
Tolbert, and Mrs. Leota Green, all of Sikes, and Mrs. Etoile Morgan of Joyce; 
three sons, Harvey, Lewis, and Alton, all of Sikes; four sisters, Mrs. Ola
Vail of Coushatta, Mrs. Lizzie Clark of Meridian, Miss., Mrs. Lula O'Keefe of
Pine Bluff, Ark., and Mrs. Stella Fuller of Camden, Ark.; 11 grandchildren and
one great grandchild.
