Mother of Mrs. John McElwee Succumbs Here

Mrs. Nettie J. Butler, 82, wife of former Mangham Mayor John B. Butler, and
mother of Mrs. John R. McElwee, died Monday morning at Winnfield General
Hospital following a long illness.

Funeral services willb e at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Mangham Methodist Church
with the Rev. J. C. Skinner officiating.  Burial will be in the Gwin Memorial
Cemetery under the direction of Southern Funeral Home here.

Mrs. Butler was a member of the Mangham Methodist Church and the Eastern Star.

Other survivors include three sons, Jack D. Butler of Hattiesburg, Miss., W.
C. Butler of North Ridge, Calif., and T. O. Butler of Florence, Alam; one
other daughter, Mrs. Isabel B. Holton of Mangham; 10 grandchildren and three
great grandchildren.
