Byles Dies In Lake Charles, Funeral Here Fri. T. B. Byles, 45, husband of the former Nannie Belle Drewett, died in a Lake Charles hospital Wednesday following a short illness. He had suffered a heart attack at his home in Lake Charles Sunday night, after arriving there from Winnfield, where he had spent the week end in the home of Mr. and Mrs. W. U. Drewett, his mother and father-in-law. The remains were returned to Winnfield Thursday afternoon at the Hixson Funeral Home, where funeral services will be conducted Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Dr. W. L. Holcomb and Rev. Alwin Stokes will officiate. Burial will be in the Winnfield cemetery. A native of Natchitoches, Mr. Byles, a pharmacist, was manager of a drug store in Lake Charles, where he and his family had made their home since 1946. He formerly was employed in Winnfield by the Emerson Brothers, druggists. He is survived by his wife and one son, Danny Lamar; three sisters and three brothers.
