All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** From: October 7, 1943 Winn Parish Enterprise Clarence Brazzell Of Jordan Hill Succumbs Sept. 29 After an illness of several months, Clarence Brazzell, 40, died at the Baptist Hospital, Alexandria, September 29, 1943. Funeral services were conducted October 4, at the Jordan Hill Baptist Church with the pastor, Rev. J. A. Cockerham, officiating. Burial was in the Jordan Cemetery. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Velda Maxey Brazzell, and a four year old son, Roy Max. He also leaves his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Brazzell, Georgetown; five brothers and two sisters, Floyd of Route 2, Winnfield; Claude and James, of Georgetown; two brothers in services: Johnny, who is stationed in Utah, and Ivory, who is stationed in Texas. His sisters are Mrs. Eunice Bruce, of Rochelle and Mrs. Molly Florence Bradford of Georgetown. He was also a nephew of Mrs. W. D. Sherwood and Mrs. Rufus Long of Winnfield and a son in law of Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Maxey of Jordan Hill. Mr. Brazzell was a member of the Big Creek Baptist Church of Jordan Hill.
