Bullock, Sr., Calvin Native, Dies November 2 Funeral services for Herman O. Bullock, Sr., 45, of Bossier City who died Wednesday, November 2, 1966 at 6:15 p.m. in Schumpert hospital following a long illness, were held Friday at 2 p.m. in the Calvin Baptist church with Rev. W. D. Stogner, pastor of Waller Street Baptist church, Bossier City, Rev. Elmer Pender and Rev. Ed Smith officiating. He was a retired U.S.Army Chief Warrant Officer and a member of the Baptist Church. He lived in Bossier City at the time of his death. Full military rites were conducted at graveside in Sanders Cemetery near Calvin, with military personnel serving as pallbearers. Survivors include his wife; four sons, Jimmy Bullock, Dwayne Bullock, Herman Bullock, Jr., and Randy Bullock, all of Bossier City, and Mrs. James Montreal of Minnesota; one brother Hercanus Bullock of Jena; five sisters, Mrs. Roberta Bourque of Lafayette, Mrs. Evastine O'Steen, Mrs. Marie Feduica, and Mrs. Christine Hunt, all of Shreveport, and Mrs. Vera Carroll Jones of Haughton; and his mother, Mrs. W. A. Bullock of Calvin and three grandchildren.
