P.C. Burnett Sr., Former Resident of Winnfield, Dies

   Paul Cliff Burnett, Sr., 66, former resident of Winnfield, died
unexpectedly of a heart attack Tuesday at this home in Marshall, Texas.
Funeral services were held at 4 p.m. Thursday at Marshall under the
direction of Rev. William H. Everton, minister of the First Christian
church, and interment was in the Greenweed cemetery of Marshall.
   Survivors include his widow; three children, Mrs. R. C. Stinson,
Benton, La.; P. C. Burnett, Jr., former assistant professor of
journalism at Louisiana Tech, now enroute to Sweden, where he is to
enter the University of Stockholm; Mrs. R. A. Danbl of Chicago, and
three grandchildren.
