Funeral Services Mrs. Sara Burnett Friday 2:30 P.M.

   Funeral services for Mrs. Sara Elizabeth Burnett, age 87, who died
Thursday morning at 1:45 o'clock, will be held Friday afternoon at 2:30
o'clock at the Laurel Heights Baptist Church.
   Services well be conducted by Rev. H. J. Mott of Monroe, assisted by
Rev. Waynon Mott, pastor. Interment will follow in the Winnfield
cemetery.
   Born in Tennessee, December 25, 1868, Mrs. Burnett moved to Louisiana
when a young girl. For the past several years she has made her home with
her daughter, Mrs. W. H. Carter, at whose residence she died.
   Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. W. H. Carter, Mrs. Maude Smith of
Winnfield, and Mrs. Will Simpson of Dansville; one brother, J. A.
Harrison, Pineville and seven grand children and nine great
grandchildren.
