Funeral Rites For Mrs. Olan Busby Held Sat.

Mrs. Virginia Busby, 43, died at 9 a.m. Friday, October 11, 1968 in a
Shreveport hospital following a lengthy illness.  She was a native of Winn
Parish and a member of the Baptist church.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Welcome Home Baptist
Church with Rev. Eugene Love officiating.  Burial was in the church cemetery
under direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Winnfield.

Survivors include her husband, Olan Busby of Winnfield; a son, Jerry Busby,
Winnfield; a brother, Clifford Young of Monroe; three sisters, Mrs. Ida Mae
Broadway of Dodson, Mrs. Margie Gates of Natchitoches, and Mrs. Mattie Jordan
of Winnfield, and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Riley Young of Dodson.

Pallbearers were Hovey Lee Harrell, Clint Broadway, Joe B. Jordan, Victor
Brinkley, Felton Gates, and Elzie Adams.
