Willie Bryant Dies After Long Illness

Willie Bryant, 71, of Dry Prong, died at 11 p.m. Saturday, August 25, 1973 at
his residence after a long illness.

Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Hattie Bryant of Dry Prong, three sons, J. M.
Bryant of Pineville, Ellis Bryant of Benton, Ark., and Archie Bryant of St.
Maurice; three daughters, Mrs. Willie Mae Stracener of Alexandria, Mrs.
Dorothy Gibson of Tioga, and Mrs. Hazel Connor of Winnfield; one sister, Mrs.
Essie O'Neal of Winnfield; 22 grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday in Rush Funeral Home chapel,
Pineville, with Rev. W. B. Huntsberry officiating.  Burial was in Summerfield
Cemetery near Colfax.
