Brother of Mrs.Dan Spencer Dies At Sarepta, La Funeral services for William D. Boyett, 83, who died Monday at his home in
Sarepta,were held at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Forest Grove Church with the Rev. Dan Matlock officiating. Burial was in the
church cemetery.
Mr. Boyett was the brother of Mrs. Dan Spencer of Winnfield and was a native of Winn Parish. Survivors are his widow; six
daughters, Mrs. E. D. Peters and Mrs. Lish Butts of Springhill, Mrs. R. C. Higginbothan of Shreveport, Mrs. Grady Duke of
Sarepta, Mrs. Johnny Marchand of Texas, and Mrs. Lloyd Tompkins of Tulsa, Ok and La.; four sons, James Boyett of
California, Dennis Boyett of Waldo, Ark., Gordon Boyett of Taylor, Ark., and J. W. Boyett of Ohio; three sisters, Mrs. Jim
Leonard of Monroe, Mr Dan Spencer of Winnfield, and Mrs. G. H. Hughes of Taylor, Ark.; brother, F. R. Boyett of
Washington; 35grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
