Mrs. Beasley, 83, Succumbs; Rites Held Sunday

Mrs. Zeal C. Beasley, 83, of Winnfield, died Friday night, April 9, 1971, in
the Winnfield General Hospital following a brief illness.

Mrs. Beasley was a native of Eros and a member of the South Winnfield Baptist
Church.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Hixson Brothers Funeral
Home Chapel with the Rev. C. R. Wicker officiating, assisted by the Rev. Deloy
Shows.  Burial was in Smith Cemetery in West Monroe.

Survivors include two sons, Isaac G. Beasley of Salem, Va., and Richard
Clifton of Gomez Pueblo, N. M.; two daughters, Mrs. Clara Fletcher of
Winnfield and Mrs. Delia Young of Dodson; a sister, Mrs. Susie Lawson of Lake
Charles and three grandchildren.
