Chandler Held Albert E. Chandler, 90, of Calvin, died at 10:25 a.m. Wednesday, May 24, 1967 in a Winnfield hospital. He was a native of Winn Parish. He is survived by three sons, Heard Chandler of Calvin, Homer Chandler of Bienville, and Carson Chandler of New Orleans; three brothers, George Chandler and Fate Chandler, both of Winnfield, and Richard Chandler of Oak Grove; two sisters, Mrs. Lettie Fannin of Winnfield and Mrs. Susie Blake of Corsicana, Tex.; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Funeral services were held Thursday at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home, Winnfield, with Revs. Elmer Pinder, Charles Middleton, and D. L. Callendar officiating. Burial was in Sanders Cemetery. Pallbearers were Georgie Bates, Monroe Fannin, Wendell Chandler, Albert Camp, Clarence Bates, Dan Carter, Woodrow Chandler, and Julius Camp.
