Funeral Held Thursday P.M. at Mineral Springs Mrs. Ann Campbell, who observed her 98th birthday on August 10, this year, died at the home of her son, J. W. Campbell here Tuesday afternoon at four-thirty o'clock. She was the last member of the Smith family, natives of Winn parish who lived far beyond three score years and ten. Her brother, John Smith, had reached the age of 98 when he died about a year ago, and another brother, Percy F. Smith, died at the age of 96. She was a member of the Mineral Springs Baptist church with which she united 81 years ago. Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at the Mineral Springs church conducted by the Rev. Alwin Stokes and the Rev. Calvin Roberson of Winnfield. Surviving her are three sons, J. W. Campbell, Winnfield, J. A. Campbell, Epps, Rev. W. A. Campbell, Mangham; four daughters, Mrs. S. J. Pepper, Jonesboro, Mrs. George Walker, Mrs. F. J. Thompson, Sikes, and Mrs. T. N. Burnett, Gaars Mill.
