Daniel Calhoun, 80, Succumbs; Rites At Hargis

Daniel Calhoun, 80, of Montgomery, died Saturday, January 21, 1970 in an
Alexandria hospital.  He was a veteran of World War I and a member of the
American Legion.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ozel Calhoun of Montgomery; two daughters,
Mrs. Ruth Hatch and Miss Kathryn Calhoun, both of San Diego, Calif.; four
grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Monday in Hargis Baptist Church with
Rev. Roy Moore officiating, assisted by Rev. Clarence Cook.  Burial was in
Mars Hill Cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield.
