Milton Calhoun

Services for Milton Calhoun, 65, were held at 3 p.m. Sunday at Alabama
Presbyterian Church near Choudrant with the Revs. Robert Gage and D. L. O'Neal
officiating.

Burial was in the Sibley Cemetery near Choudrant under direction of Kilpatrick
Funeral Home of Ruston.

Mr. Calhoun died Friday night in Methodist Hospital, Houston, after a short
illness.  He was a retired farmer, a native of Choudrant, and chairman of the
deacons of Alabama Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Bessie Calhoun of Choudrant; two daughters,
Mrs. Lou Ferguson of Winnfield and Mrs. Wanda Huey of Ruston; a son, Billy
Calhoun of Oak Grove; three sisters, Mrs. Clara Davis of Sterlington, Mrs.
Leta Holstead of Ruston, and Mrs. Katie Lea Holstead of Port Neches, Texas;
eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Pallbearers were John Arch O'Neal, Norris Smith, Gene Posey, K. Dale Ford,
Curtis Dugdale, and Joe Dugdale.
