Hatten Campbell, 80, died at her residence on South Street Thursday, December 25. Funeral services were held Saturday at Hixson Bros. Funeral Chapel, with Rev. W. R. Gage and Rev. Willie James officiating. Burial was in the Garden of Memories Cemetery, Winnfield. Mrs. Campbell was a native of the Sikes Community and was a member of the Methodist Church in Dodson, where she and her husband lived for a number of years. Mr. Campbell, who survives her, operated a livery stable in Dodson and later in Winnfield for many years. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Campbell is survived by one daughter, Mrs. J. M. "Minnie" Breedlove, of Winnfield, and one son, W. M. Campbell of New Orleans. Pallbearers were A. L. Sikes, Jr., Lawson Walker, J. J. Crippen, Ernest Melton, Eddie Powell, and Ed Gassiott.
