All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** From: April 24, 1952 Winn Parish Enterprise Last Rites for Mrs. Minnie Campbell Of Dodson Held Mrs. Minnie Campbell, 70, succumbed at her home in Dodson at 1:30 a.m. April 20, 1952. She had been in ill health for a long period of time, only during the past year her health had grown worse and her passing was unexpected. Mrs. Campbell was a native of Bienville Parish and was married to Sam Campbell January, 1901, and to this union six children were born, three of whom now survive. They are Mrs. Bertha Fuglar, of Pineville, Judson Campbell of Dodson, and Scotland Campbell of Choudrant. Other survivors are one sister, Mrs. Lou Pickins of Tennessee; three brothers, Virgil Tims, Hodge; Jim Tims, Arcadia; Walter Tims, Coushatta; five grandchildren and a large number of nieces and nephews. Services were held at the Dodson Baptist Church with the Rev. Ray Frager, pastor, and Rev. Grafton Shaw, Methodist pastor, officiating. Burial was in the Zion Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers were J. L. Mathews, Carthal Payne, Clayton Norred, J. Y. Terry, Ennis Murphy, and K. C. Hightower.
