Funeral Conducted For C. B. Cantrell Saturday, May 10

Funeral services were conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday, May 10, 1952 for Charlie
Barton Cantrell, 77, of Winnfield who died in a local hospital May 9 after an
illness of several weeks.  Rites were held at the family residence with the
Rev. Alwin Stokes officiating and interment was in Zion Hill Cemetery under
direction of Southern Funeral Home.

A native of Mississippi, Mr. Cantrell was born Jan. 24, 1875.  He was a member
of the Masonic Lodge of Vidalia, La.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mittie Cantrell; a son, C. F. Cantrell of
Sibley, La.; four daughters, Mrs. Ruby Seay, Mrs. Opal Hodge, and Mrs. Geneva
Fuller of Winnfield, and Mrs. Lucille Anderson of San Diego, Calif., and
seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
