Mrs. Lucille Carpenter Canerday

Services for Mrs. Lucille Canerday, 79, of Calvin, were held at 2 p.m.
Tuesday, at First Baptist Church in Calvin with the Revs. Herbert Whitten and
Charles Haley officiating.

Burial was in Bethlehem Cemetery near Calvin under direction of Southern
Funeral Home.

Mrs. Canerday died Sunday, November 10, 1985 at Rapides General Hospital
in Alexandria after a long illness.

Survivors include one son, Johnnie Canerday of Calvin, and one daughter,
Mrs. Melvin James of Winnfield; one brother, Milvern Carpenter of Baton Rouge;
two grandchildren and one great grandchild.
