D. E. Cannon Dies Sunday Morning In South Winnfield

Dave E. Cannon, 49 years, 8 months, and 20 days old, died at his home in South
Winnfield early Sunday morning following an illness of about one week.

Mr. Cannon was born in Alabama and moved to Louisiana with his parents in
early childhood. He was married to Miss Nora Blackshear to which union several
children were born.

Funeral services were conducted at the home by the Rev. Jasper Boyett Sunday
afternoon at two o'clock concluded at the Corinth Cemetery where interment was
made by the Woodmen of the World.
