Mrs. M. Cantrell Succumbs; Rites Held Thursday

Mrs. Minnie Cantrell, 79, of Winnfield, died Wednesday, October 7, 1970, in
the Winnfield General Hospital.

The deceased was a member of the East Winnfield Baptist Church.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Southern Funeral Home
Chapel with Revs. Jimmie Yocum and Thomas Cox officiating.  Burial was in the
Zion Hill Cemetery at Tannehill under direction of Southern Funeral Home.

Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Ruby C. Seay and Mrs. Opal Hodge, both
of Winnfield, Mrs. Lucille Anderson of California and Mrs. Charlene Fuller of
Winnfield; two brothers, Riley Speed and Ross Speed, both of Ferriday; two
sisters, Mrs. Fobie Sheet of Monroe and Mrs. Ethel Floyd of Ferriday; seven
grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
