W. Capps At Zion July 26 Funeral services for Mrs. J. W. Capps, 76, of Rt. 1, Georgetown, who died in a Winnfield hospital Wednesday, were held at the Georgetown Baptist Church at 4 p.m. July 26, with the Rev. Floyd Lisenby and the Rev. E. H. Hayes officiating. Burial was in the Zion Cemetery under direction of Hixson Funeral Home. Before her marriage Mrs. Capps was the former Miss Sarah Hemphill. She was a member of the Baptist faith. Surviving are her husband, J. W. "Jim" Capps, Rt. 1, Georgetown; three daughters, Mrs. R. D. Skains, Winnfield; Mrs. C. C. M. Carnahan, Georgetown; Mrs. J. H. Peebles, Minneapolis, Minn.; four sons, S. O. Capps, Tullos; Aaron, J. W., Jr., and Arthur Capps, Georgetown; one brother, Grover Hemphill, Joyce. The deceased also leaves three brothers: Marvin Hemphill, Georgetown, L. D. of Clayton, and J. W. of Ferriday; four half sisters, Mrs. Ray Hodges, Georgetown; Mrs. C. A. Bird, Clayton, Mrs. C. H. Taylor, Tanner, Ala., Mrs. C. A. Parsons, Kentwood, La.
