Carrie Talley Carter

Services for Carrie Talley Carter, 80, were held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday,
December 5th at Shady Grove near Carthage, Texas.

Burial was in the church cemetery under direction of a Fort Worth funeral
home.

Mrs. Carter died in a Fort Worth nursing home Tuesday, December 3rd.

She was a native of Slidell, a former Winn Parish resident, and a graduate
of Dodson High School.

Survivors include one son, Wayne Carter of Waco, Texas; one daughter, Dale
Norris of Fort Worth, Texas; three sisters, Sadie Jones of Dennison, Texas;
Mrs. Leona Rodden of Monroe; Mrs. Nora Hayes of Marshall, Texas; four  
brothers, Wilton Talley of Darnell; Norman Talley of Newelton; Gurvis Talley
of Carthage, Texas; Jack Talley of Monroe; five grandchildren and a host of
nieces and nephews.
