OBITUARIES

Lelia Cardozier


Services for Lelia Megison Cardozier were held at 2 p.m. Thursday in Mt. Zion
United Methodist Church with the Revs. Sherman L. Beird and James Poole
officiating.  An Order of Eastern Star service followed the sermon.  Burial
was in the church cemetery under direction of Blanchard-St. Denis,
Natchitoches.

Mrs. Cardozier, 92, of Natchitoches, died at 7:15 p. m. Tuesday, June 16, 1987
in Natchitoches  Parish Hospital, Natchitoches.

She was formerly of Montgomery.  She was a member of Mount Zion Methodist
Church, where she taught Sunday School for 40 years.  She was a native of
Wheeling and a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Pioneer Chapter 183.  

Survivors include one son, Dr. V. Ray Cardozier of Austin, Texas; one
daughter, Juanita C. Kilpatrick of Natchitoches; four grandchildren and four
great grandchildren.
