O. Carroll, 66, Dies; Interment At Goldonna Johnny Odis Carroll, 66, of Winnfield, died at 11 p.m. Thursday, June 15, 1972 in a Winnfield hospital. He was a native of Castor, was an iron worker, and a member of the Assembly of God Church. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Gladys Carroll of Winnfield; one son, Roy Johnson of Winnfield; one daughter, Mrs. Lamar Berry of Winnfield; five brothers, Bobby Carroll of Springhill, Neil Carroll of Pineville, Elbert Carroll of Georgetown, Howard Carroll and R. J. Carroll, both of Winnfield; and six grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of Southern Funeral Home with Rev. W. F. Harrell and Rev. Charles Haley officiating. Burial was in Goldonna Cemetery. Pallbearers were J. B. Simmons, Claude H. Reed, Harry Stevens, Terry Reeves, Richard Smart, and Hewey Walker.
