Will Carroll Rites Held Jan. 9, 1953

Mr. Will Carroll, 82, of Gansville, died in the Huey P. Long Hospital in
Pineville on January 8, following a stroke.

Funeral services were held in the Cypress Creek Baptist Church on Friday,
January 9, at 3 p.m. with Rev. Arthur, pastor of the Gansville Church,
officiating.  Interment was in the Cypress Creek Cemetery.

The deceased is survived by his wife, Mrs. Minnie Carroll.  Three daughters,
Mrs. Bessie Sykes, Odessa, Texas, Mrs. Lee Cotherman, Dubach, Mrs. Berlie
Blake, Rt. 1, Dodson; two sons, Wesley Carroll, Odessa, Texas, Jim Carroll,
Rt. 1, Dodson, and one stepson, and a large number of nieces and nephews.
