L.C. CARPENTER IS BURIED THURSDAY AT BETHLEHEM

Luther C. Carpenter, 70, logger of the Bethlehem community, died in a
Winnfield hospital Wednesday after a long illness.

Last rites were conducted Thursday, June 11, at 2:30 p.m. in the Bethlehem
Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery under direction of Southern
Funeral Home.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Mary C. Carpenter; one son, William H. Carpenter,
three daughters, Mrs. G.B. Carter and Miss Mary Lou Carpenter, all of Route 3,
Winnfield; and Mrs. Raymond Dubois, Winnfield; one sister, Mrs. Lizzie Green,
Dodson; and nine grandchildren.
