Mrs. R. Carter, 53, Succumbs After Lengthy Illness

Mrs. Richard Carter, 53, died Monday, July 24, at her residence in Olla, after
a long illness.

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Wednesday in Olla First Baptist Church
with Rev. D. B. Cox officiating.  Burial was in Olla Cemetery.

Mrs. Carter is survived by her husband; a daughter, Mrs. W. K. Hemphill of
Olla; two sons, John Ray Carter of Olla and Wickie Carter of Orange, Texas; a
sister, Mrs. William Hennen of Doyline; two step sisters; two brothers,
Raymond Wilson of Henderson, Texas, and O. L. Wilson of Oklahoma City, Okla.;
and six grandchildren.
