Carr Funeral Held Wed., May 28 John C. Carr, 88, of Montgomery, died at 5:10 p.m., May 26 in Cabrini Hospital at Alexandria. Mr. Carr was a native of Georgia and was a retired farmer. He was a member of the Hargis Baptist Church. Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 28, at the Hargis Baptist Church, Rev. Roy Moore and Rev. James Acord officiating. Interment was in Hargis Cemetery under the direction of Southern Funeral Home. Mr. Carr is survived by his wife, Mrs. Pearl Carr, Montgomery; five sons, Talmadge Carr, Montgomery; Luther Carr, Alexandria; Ed Carr, Colfax; James Carr, Houston, Texas; and Billy Carr, Colonial Beach; three daughters, Mrs. J. W. Norred, Montgomery; Mrs. Elma Cruse, Olla; and Mrs. Leona Price, Pyote, Texas; one sister, Mrs. Lawson Peterson, Vidalia, La.; one brother, Leslie Outler, Vidalia, La.; 23 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
