Mrs. W. A. Carter Buried At Mt. Zion Sunday, Sept. 11

Funeral services for Mrs. W. A. Carter, 85, of Montgomery, were held at 2:30
p.m. September 11 from the First Baptist Church, Montgomery, with Rev. Marvin
O. Doolittle officiating.  Burial was in Mt. Zion Cemetery under direction of
Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield.

Mrs. Carter was the former Miss Angeline Amelia Cardozier, a native of Winn
Parish.

Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. J. W. Gates, Alexandria, Mrs. M. L.
Dunn, Houston, Mrs. Earl Davison, Montgomery, and Mrs. George Keith,
Jonesville; two sons, Dow Carter, Bossier City and Mahlon Carter, Houston;
one brothers, J. C. Cardozier, Rt. 1, Montgomery; one sister, Mrs. Ola Cook,
Monroe; 19 grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren.
