Father of Mrs. G. C. Gaar Of Dodson, Dies

H. H. Carter, 73, died at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the home of his daughter, Mrs.
T. B. Ferguson, 1407 Grigsby Street.  Funeral services were held at 3 p.m.
Thursday at the Vivian Baptist Church and burial was in the Vivian Cemetery
under the direction of the Benge Funeral Home.

Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Ferguson, Mrs. J. N. Hanneman, and Mrs. E.
H. Tuggle of Shreveport; Mrs. Guy C. Gaar of Dodson, and Mrs. Homer Lantz of
Vivian; two sons, Don M. Carter of Shreveport and Clyde B. Carter of Vivian;
22 grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
