S. M. Culpepper's Sister Dies In Minden On September First

Mrs. Virginia Carter, 64, died Wednesday, September 1st, at the home of her
daughter, Mrs. D. L. Stewart, no the Minden-Ringgold road.

Mrs. Carter is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Stewart; one sister, Mrs. Sam
Carter, Heflin, three brothers, S. M. Culpepper, Winnfield, La., and R. S. And
W. E. Culpepper, of Heflin, La.; one granddaughter, Betty Raye Stewart.

Funeral services were held at the residence of Mrs. Stewart at 2 o'clock
Thursday afternoon.  The Rev. W. T. Strain of Bisteneau Baptist Church
officiated.  Interment was in the Davis Cemetery.
