A. Chandler, Trucker Farmer of Winn B. A. Chandler, 62 years, 3 months, and 10 days, died at his home at Winnfield, Route Two, Monday, January 12. Funeral services were held at Corinth, January 13, with the Rev. W. B. Volentine officiating. Interment was in the Corinth Cemetery under the direction of Southern Funeral Home. Born in Lincoln Parish October 2, 1880, Mr. Chandler moved to Winn Parish 40 years ago and was one of the most prominent truck farmers of this parish. He was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Jesse Chandler, and the following sons and daughters, Harmon Chandler and Archie Berry Chandler, Route 2, Winnfield; Mrs. Maybelle Chandler Dalby, Ruston, La.; Bertha Chandler, Norris Boyett, and D. G. Boyett, Winnfield; Jim Chandler, John Chandler, Ruston, La.; and Chris Chandler, Texas.
