Maude Chandler

Services for Maude Chandler were held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Calvin Baptist
Church with the Revs. Leonard Free and Herbert Whitten officiating.

Burial was in Cypress Creek Cemetery in Dodson, under the direction of
Southern, Winnfield.

Mrs. Chandler, 85, of Calvin died at 7:40 p.m. Thursday, January 5, 1984,
in Humana Hospital, Winn Parish.

She was a member of Calvin Baptist Church and was a native of Bienville
Parish.

Survivors include three sons, Norman Chandler of Baton Rouge and Charles
Chandler and Chester Chandler, both of Calvin; four sisters, Mrs. Ben
Poisso, Sr., of Winnfield; Eva Cockerham of Teague, Texas,  Myrtle Grigsby
of Clay, and Gladys Cockerham of Homer; eight grandchildren and 14 great
grandchildren.
