R. B. Kitchingham officiating. Burial was in the Gansville Cemetery under the direction of the Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield. Mr. Chandler, a longtime resident of Lincoln and Jackson Parishes, is survived by five sons, Oscar Chandler, Lafayette, La.; W. J. Chandler, Gramercy, La.; Marvin Chandler, Mobile, Ala.; Orville Chandler, Clarksdale, Miss.; Lovelle Chandler, Ruston, La.; three daughters, Mrs. Rene Richard, Crowley, La.; Mrs. Reba C. White, San Antonio, Tex.; and Miss Mary Alie Chandler, Gramercy, La.; four brothers, S. B. and J. W. Chandler, Ruston, La.; B. A. Chandler and Chis Chandler, Winnfield, La., and one sister, a Mrs. Stevens of Topeka, Kansas. Pallbearers were E. S. Burke, Everett Burke, J. F. Walker, D. E. Lewis, E. H. Buchanan, and C. H. Rushing.
