Uncle of Winn Relavites Dies

S. B. Chandler, 84, of Ruston, died in that city Wednesday after a lengthy
illness.  He was a former resident of Winn Parish, having lived at one time on
the place now owned and occupied by L. M. Gentry, Alexandria Highway.

Last rites were conducted Thursday afternoon in Ruston with burial following
in the Douglas Cemetery near Ruston.

He leaves his wife, five daughters, one son, two brothers, John W. Chandler
and Chris Chandler, both of Ruston.  He was the brother of the late B. A.
Chandler of Winnfield and is the uncle of Harmon Chandler and Mrs. Maybelle
Dalby of Winnfield.
