Woodrow J. Chandler

Services for Woodrow J. Chandler, 67, of Winnfield, were held at 11 a.m.
Friday in Southern Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Charles B. Martin and
Louis B. Williams officiating.

Burial was in Cypress Creek Cemetery near Winnfield.

Mr. Chandler died Wednesday, December 24, 1980 in Winnfield General Hospital
after a long illness.

He was a merchant and a farmer.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Woodrow Chandler of Winnfield; two sons, Fred
Chandler and Ricky Chandler, both of Winnfield; a daughter, Mrs. Polly Haist
of Huntsville, Ala.; three brothers, Harold Walsworth of San Antonio, Texas,
Leonard Chandler of Shreveport, and Wendell Chandler of Dodson; four sisters,
Ms. Alma Taylor and Mrs. Beulah Barnes, both of Shreveport, Mrs. Gladys Taylor
of Dodson, and Mrs. Vermelle Shively of Winnfield, and six grandchildren.
