W. R. Chandler, Winn Native, Dies Sunday

William Richard Chandler, 86, of Oak Grove, died unexpectedly Sunday,
September 26, 1971 at the Carroll Nursing Home in Oak Grove.

A native of Winn Parish, he was a member of the Baptist Church.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Bethlehem Baptist Church
near Winnfield.  Burial was in the church cemetery.

Survivors include two sons, Walter Chandler and Roland Chandler, both of Oak
Grove; one daughter, Mrs. Kent Rosenberry of Kassopolis, Mich.; one brother,
H. L. Chandler of Winnfield; one sister, Mrs. Lettie Fannin of Winnfield;
seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
