All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Stevens Wesley Chatham Dead While on his way to Oklahoma last week to see his children, Mr. Stevens Wesley Chatham was taken ill and treated in Hot Springs, Ark., and believing himself to be able, he started with Mr. Henry Wilson in his car to come to Winnfield Sunday. It was on this journey that Mr. Chatham died. Just where he died or how long he had been dead when Mr. Wilson discovered it is unknown, it was stated, but itis believed to have been somewhere between Junction City and Winnfield. Funeral services were held here Monday and burial was in the Winnfield Cemetery. Among his relatives here to survive him are Mesdames Henry Wilson and Frank Scott, and his children of Oklahoma.
