Father of Mrs. Maseberg Dies in Port Arthur, Texas

Walter Chelette, 86, of Port Arthur, Texas, died of a heart attack Saturday. 
Last rites were conducted in Port Arthur, Tuesday afternoon.

Mr. Chelette was a former merchant and farmer at Verda before moving to Texas.
A member of the Baptist Church, he was affectionately known as "Uncle Walter."

He leaves three daughters, Mrs. Ottis Lacy and Mrs. Ophelia Maseburg of
Wheeling; Mrs. Camellia Smith of Aloha; two sons, Hurd and Leo Chelette of
Port Arthur, Texas.
