Mrs. Childers, 79, Dies; Rites Held Tuesday

Mrs. Ida L. Childers, 79, died Sunday afternoon, June 8, 1969, in a hospital
here after a short illness.

She is survived by her husband, Abbie L. Childers of Winnfield, and two
sisters, Mrs. Cloe Warner of Montgomery and Mrs. Pearl Williamson of
Mansfield.

A Rosary was recited Monday night at 7:30 p.m.

Funeral services were held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic
Church of which she was a member, with Father John Gayer officiating.  Burial
was in the Garden of Memories under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral
Home of Winnfield.

Pallbearers were Troy Lynn Smith, Clifton Warner, J. E. Williams, Jr., John
Childers, Ben Childers, Joe Lattier.
