Last Rites Held At Mars Hill For Mrs. Chandler

Funeral services for Mrs. J. G. Chandler, 70, of Montgomery, were conducted at
the Mars Hill Baptist Church Friday, April 29, with the Rev. M. B. Adkins
officiating.  Burial was in Mars Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Chandler died April 27 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Inez Arthur,
Dallas, Texas, after a lengthy illness.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. R. B. Lang, Montgomery, and Mrs. J. W.
Arthur, Dallas, Texas; two sons, Herde Chandler and J. G. Chandler, Jr., both
of Montgomery; one sister, Mrs. W. E. Little, Minden; two brothers, Jack Bice
of Calvin and Adolphus Bice, Ruston; eight grandchildren.
