Christy, brother of local resident Curtis S. "Christy" Davison, died at 9 a.m. Tuesday, September 9, 1969, at Dixon Memorial Hospital, Denham Springs. He was 62, resident of Denham Springs, and a native of Hammond. Religious services were held at the funeral home Thursday at 11 a.m. conducted by the Rev. John Causey. Burial was in Denham Springs Memorial Cemetery. Odd Fellows rites at the graveside. Pallbearers were members of the Odd Fellows Lodge No. 9. Honorary pallbearers: co-workers. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Rena S. Christy, Denham Springs; a son, John Lester Christy, of Long Beach, California; two daughters, Mrs. Bob Hunt and Mrs. Donald Char___, both of Baton Rouge; a brother, Curtis Davison, Winnfield; two sisters, Mrs. Albert Landry, Baton Rouge, and Mrs. Minnie Hewett, ____________________ California; six grandchildren, and other relatives. He was a member of the Eden Baptist Church and the Odd Fellows Lodge No. 8, Denham Springs, Louisiana.
