Father of Local Woman Dies In Jonesboro Hospital

Arrangements For Albert Clayton's Funeral Incomplete

Albert Horace Clayton, 77, of Jonesboro, father of Mrs. W. J. Austin of
Winnfield, died in a hospital here Tuesday, July 22, 1952.  Arrangements for
the funeral services have not been completed due to the absence of a daughter
and it was understood that rites will not be held before Saturday or Sunday. 
He will be buried in the New Hope Cemetery.

Mr. Clayton was born July 23, 1873 and died just one day before his 74th
birthday.  He was a member of the Nazarene Church.

Survivors include two sons, Howard of Killeen, Texas and Lyman of Lake
Charles; four daughters, Mrs. W. J. Austin of Winnfield, Mrs. J. W. Smith of
Oak Grove, Mrs. Ruth Dufresne of Delhi, and Mrs. L. S. Bryant of Winnsboro;
and 14 grandchildren.
