H. Lewis, vice president of the First Savings and Trust Company of Tampa, Florida, was found in the Mobile River at Mobile, Alabama, early on the morning of Friday, March 6. It was trussed up with a rope and a ten pound piece of iron was attached to it. The deceased was the brother of Mr. R. A. Clewis, local resident and employee of the Mansfield Hardwood Lumber Company. According to unofficial information Mr. Clewis had been missing for about a month and Dr. S. J. Walker, county coroner withheld the opinion regarding the possibility of foul play pending an examination of the body. The deceased was a member of a prominent family and had been a valued employee of the bank in Tampa for more than three decades.
