C. L. Fitzgerald, 57, Succumbs; Rites Monday

Funeral services for Cartie L. Fitzgerald, 57, of Dodson, were held at 2 p.m.
Monday, in Antioch Methodist Church near Dodson with Revs. Edgar Gunter, Louis
Moffett, and C. Roy Taylor officiating.

Burial was in Antioch Cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home of
Jonesboro.

Mr. Fitzgerald died unexpectedly at his residence around 3:30 p.m. Saturday,
October 28, 1967.  He was a member of the Assembly of God church, a native of
Caldwell Parish, and was in the pulpwood business.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Reeves Fitzgerald, Dodson; two sons, Everett
Lee Fitzgerald and Thomas M. Fitzgerald, both of Dodson; one daughter, Mrs.
Jim Liles, Dodson; one brother, Mike Fitzgerald, Wink, Tex.; one sister, Mrs.
Mae Martin, Shreveport; and nine grandchildren.
